About me
Anne Rogers is the Problem Gambling Prevention Coordinator at the Virginia DBHDS Office of Behavioral Health Wellness. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all problem gambling and gaming prevention activities, including assessment, capacity building, making data-driven plans, implementation, evaluation, and building connections in gambling program resources and activities with other prevention work across the commonwealth. Prior to this Anne spent the past 20 years working for the State of Maine public health and behavioral health offices on substance misuse and abuse prevention as well as oversight of data and research systems. Anne received her master's in health education from the University of Houston and is ABD status towards a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Massachusetts. She has worked in the public health and prevention field for over 25 years.
